Day trading? Isn’t this publication about 3D printing?

Well, it is about 3D printing, and there is a direct relationship here. It turns out that there are quite a few 3D printing companies that are publicly traded, meaning anyone — even you — can in theory invest in them. We track these companies and their values each Sunday in our weekly leaderboard.

We’ve been watching these companies rise and fall for a couple of years now, and it is pretty clear that there is usually some logic to the shifts in value. Because of those shifts, it’s possible for smart investors to actually make a bit of cash by investing in these companies — and then selling when the value rises.

Most Fabbaloo readers are probably unfamiliar with the process of buying and selling stocks, but it’s not rocket science.
